Launch of the 2017 festival

The leaflets and website are officially launched today. A list of all the walks (in September) can be found on theĀ Walks page. New for this year are some walks organised using coach and bus. This allows us to get to new areas with the mid and long distance walks. The beer celebration walk has historically not been much more than a fun short pub crawl. This year we’re upping the ante with a much more challenging walk over the hills to Wincle brewery. The other coach trips are a joint journey dropping off at the Cat & Fiddle (shorter) and then onto Buxton (longer). The final experiment is to catch the 392 bus from Bollington to near Lyme Park.

Because some of these events cost money, we’ve implemented a new ticketing system this year so book early!
